Wesley J. Johnston
Wesley J. Johnston is the Chief Executive Officer of TIA.

Mr. Johnston joined TIA as its CEO in June 2017. He brings more than 25 years of experience delivering global solutions in information and communications technologies (ICT), as well as a keen sense of how business, government and associations should work together to drive industry innovation. Prior to joining TIA, Mr. Johnston was the Managing Director of Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT investments for the Gores Group, a leading global private equity M&A firm). As an active technology company board member, he was responsible for portfolio company oversight as well as leading operational due diligence efforts for the firm's TMT investments. Prior to joining The Gores Group, Mr. Johnston held senior executive positions with global, multi-national firms as well as start-up technology companies. He was EVP and Chief Operating Officer with Dimension Data, where he led sales, marketing, solutions development and service delivery across the Americas for the $6 billion technology integrator.
Fraser Pajak is the Chief Operating Officer of TIA.

Fraser Pajak joined TIA as its COO in November 2017. Mr. Pajak was formerly the CEO of QuEST Forum, a non-profit organization with a vision to “be the global force for improving quality of products and services delivered to customers of information and communication technologies (ICT)”. QuEST Forum’s membership is comprised of companies from around the world, collaborating around a common passion for quality and administering the highly respected industry standard known as TL 9000.
Fraser, a QuEST Forum board member since 2007, has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Previously, Fraser was the VP of National Service Infrastructure Support for TELUS Communications where he directed a team of approximately 1200 of the most highly skilled technical people in Canada. Fraser’s team took care of incident management, escalation, resolution, root cause analysis, change management and service performance for the wireline, wireless, internet and TV networks and data centers across Canada.
Mr. Yan Wende is the Chief Quality Officer of ZTE Corporation.
Mr. Yan Wende received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Tianjin University, in 1994, 1997, respectively. Mr. Yan joined ZTE Corporation in 1997, and acted as the General Director cum Quality Director of ZTE Power R&D Institute since 2012. Mr. Yan is acting as the CQO of ZTE Corporation since Sep.2017, and is responsible for the overall quality works in ZTE, pushing for the continuous quality improvement.
Mr. Yan has more than 20 years of experience in the R&D of ICT power supplies and green energy solutions. He led the R&D of power supply architecture and modules in the information and telecom infrastructure solutions, as well as telecom power systems and green energy solutions, of ZTE.
Mr. Yan was an editor of 3 telecom power industry standards, and holds 5 patents.
Under his leadership, ZTE is now a major player in state-of-the-art telecom power systems and new energy solutions. In 2011, ZTE telecom power system received the Technological Invention Award First Prize from CPSS. In 2013 and 2015, ZTE green energy solution won twice the Best Practices Award from Frost & Sullivan. In 2015, ZTE DC/DC power supply module was honored the Excellent Product Innovation Award by CPSS.
Ken Koffman is the Senior Vice President, Standards & Technology of TIA.

Ken oversees the creation and distribution of all TIA technical and quality standards as well as the creation and support of our TIA communities. As part of this role, Ken continues to serve as the CTO of the QuEST Forum community. The creation of member value added products and services, such as the QuEST Sustainability Assessor Tool, QuESTMark, and QuEST WCX, are important deliverables from his teams.
Ken is a customer-focused results-oriented executive with an excellent technical background and over 30 years of ICT management experience. As the Quality Officer of multiple international tier I telecom vendors, Ken oversaw the creation and optimization of all corporate key processes and the measurement system that drives continual improvement and maximizes customer satisfaction.
Ken has also had several diverse management responsibilities Siemens and Bell Labs, covering all aspects of complex product development and support – from systems architecture to 7×24 Service. He oversaw strategic planning, balanced score card design, and QMS implementation, while serving QuEST as an SME and team leader.
Ken is a charter member of QuEST Forum, an author of both handbooks, an Executive Board Director, QuEST Forum Legend, and an acknowledged industry expert. He is the Board’s liaison and an active participant in the Oversight & IGQ Workgroups and Board champion for the Performance Data Report improvements initiative.
Paulus Bucher is the Senior Vice President, Global Operations of ADVA Optical Networking SE.

Born in 1966, studied engineering in Germany and the United States, and received a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University in 1998. Paulus has joined ADVA Optical Networking in 2010 as Senior Vice President Global Operations. He is responsible for Strategic Procurement, SCM, NPI, Production and Logistics. Before that Paulus had held positions at CommScope, Ericsson, and Bosch, where he has transformed value chains and in an increasingly globalized industry for electronic equipment.
